Fulwood supplied materials, fabricated, non-destructive tested and machined the replacement tyre section for a 3048mm diameter rotary kiln.

The shell of this replacement tyre section was manufactured from boiler quality steel and the fabrication included the machined tyre, retaining bars, bar stops, tyre retaining and side stops, also safety blocks.

To facilitate site alignment and welding and to assist in transportation of the tyre section, two 6 leg bracings were welded to the inside of the shell.
