An existing 120 tonne wire rope take-up stand used in the wire rope manufacturing industry was stripped down and completely refurbished by Fulwood.

New components, such as the end frame, base, cable cover protection roller assembly and drive plate were manufactured and fitted to the existing stand.

Major modifications were also carried out to the winch gear.

The take-up stand was supplied complete with new access ladder, platform and handrailing.
